The heart behind the wonderland

Our Story 🍭

What if, as children, we had been introduced to a new language through joy, before fear and frustration ever had a chance to take hold?

For me, English was not always a window to the world. For years, it was a source of frustration, low grades, fear of speaking, and the feeling that perhaps I simply was not good enough. I knew what I wanted to say, but I did not always have the words.

But that struggle did not define my story.

I kept learning, persevering, and refusing to give up. I earned my pilot’s license in the United States in English, married a native English speaker, and today, most of my life is lived in the language that once frightened me. What once made me feel limited has become a source of freedom, connection, and triumph.

That journey taught me that language can change a life, and that the way children are introduced to it matters just as much as the words they learn.

That understanding is what gave birth to Gali’s Wonderland.

We did not want to create another English lesson. We wanted to create a world children would love returning to. A world filled with songs, stories, games, creativity, and beloved characters, where children feel safe to try, make mistakes, ask questions, and discover.

We believe every child comes into the world whole, curious, and full of imagination. Children do not need to be pushed to become smarter. They need a supportive environment that protects their curiosity and allows them to learn through joy.

For us, English is not the destination. It is a window into a wider world. A way to discover new people, cultures, and ideas, to express ourselves, connect with others, and feel that we belong.

Through every song, story, and game, we aim to nurture not only language, but also wonder, confidence, kindness, friendship, family, and the courage to try.

We want everything we create to leave each child a little more curious, a little more confident, and a little more in love with the world.

My story began with struggle, but Gali’s Wonderland was born from triumph and from the choice to transform what I needed as a child into a new world for other children.

We do not create the magic.
We help children hold on to their ability to see it.
